The visionary behind Paw Prints Etc LLC is Rebekah. At Paw Prints Etc LLC, we want clients to think of us as extended family. We are here when you need us. We are here to educate. We are here to help with your furry friends' grooming needs.
Rebekah attended the VA School of Pet Grooming in 2004 after completing an AAS degree in Science from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. An avid lover of animals since she can remember, it only seemed right to follow the path of working and caring for animals. Upon completion of pet grooming school, she started Paw Prints Etc as an in-home pet grooming service providing grooming in clients' homes.
After moving to the Dublin area and building a beautiful family with her two daughters, Agusta and Abagail, Rebekah held several grooming positions in various veterinary offices before returning to school at New River Community College in 2009, earning an AAS in Business Management with Phi Theta Kappa honors.
Eventually, Paw Prints Etc came back as a mobile service for Dublin, Pulaski, and Radford. Her reputation for caring for animals and attention to detail became known far and wide. After 13 years of mobile service, Rebekah made the leap to a full salon setting where she could offer services on a wider scale and continue to grow.
Rebekah's greatest joy of grooming is seeing and hearing clients' excitement when they first see their clean "baby." She has passed the AKC S.A.F.E. classes twice and was a member of the National Dog Groomers Association — holding pet groomers to a standard while providing continued education.
Pictured with Rebekah is her family dog, Callie, a toy poodle. Rebekah also owns a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a standard poodle, and lots of chickens!
Abagail Lee
Abagail is the friendly face you will greet when you arrive through the door and when you come back for pickup. Her motivated energy keeps the shop running at tip-top speed.
While she may seem young, Abagail has been in "training" since a very young age — spending all of her summers growing up following her mom, Rebekah, on grooming days. She has seen it all, from the worst of matted dogs and cats to things we should never mention. 😄
Abagail is fluent in how to train clients to get on regular schedules so your pet is most comfortable, how to handle fearful, anxious, and overly stressed pets throughout the process, and so much more. She is one of the biggest assets to making the shop run smoothly.
Abagail completed homeschooling at 15 (though she had to wait until 16 for her diploma!). She developed a love for horses, and after years of commitment, earned her dream horse — a gelding named Lazy Blue Sky (Ocala). In recent years, she and Lazy Blue Sky have been nationally qualified for the American Quarter Horse Youth World Show in Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail, claiming many circuit champion and high point champion awards across Virginia and North Carolina, winning around a dozen buckles and prizes to date.
